  • In February’s issue of the Practical Photography magazine there is an interview with myself covering my obsession with waders. In the interview I reveal the reasons behind my passion for these birds and these amazing Spring Tides in Norfolk, and I also discuss the field craft techniques and camera techniques.     I was a guest expert in Decembers issue of Practical Photography, a great magazine,full of advice, tips and gear reviews each month. One of my Barn Owl shots along with the tips and how I got the shot where included in this issue, carrying on my passion for showing how I work in the field at the same time helping others to take better photos.

    British Wildlife Photography Awards 2011
    My image calling down the valley was short listed from thousands of images and made the final of the 2011 competition. This image can be seen by clicking on the smaller image. It’s a male Red Grouse calling down the mist covered valley below him, taken with a wide angled lens to capture the bird within its habitat.

  • One of my favorite images of the Spring Tides at Norfolk, was published in the Daily Telegraph newspaper, the image can be seen by clicking on the Telegraphs website here. Its shows thousands of waders taking off in Norfolk.

  • A selection of my photographs has been chosen to form part of the online gallery of the highly prestigious and respected BBC Wildlife magazine; Discover Wildlife. Showing a few of my favorite images taken in the wild, capturing private and personal moments with my camera

  • GDT / European Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2011

    My photograph "Spring Tide" capturing thousands of waders taking off during a Norfolk spring tide made the final of this prestigious award. With several of my images making the quarter-finals also.

    The image captures the movement of those birds by using a slow shutter speed, giving the image a real sense of movement. With nearly 1000 photographers from 39 countries, who entered almost 14,000 pictures into this GDT competition my image made the final in the Bird category. The image can be seen here

    Further to the success of my Puffin images in the month of May, the highly respected BBC wildlife magazine, chose my image “ Kissing  Puffin’s for a full page spread in their June issue

  • Several of my Puffins images made the national press during the month on May. The photographs were a result of many hours of  watching these amazing seabirds that only come ashore for a short period each year to breed and raise their family. The Mail, The Sun and the Independant where a few of the papers that covered this story.
     

November 2010

  • The British Wildlife Photography Awards: Collection 1 Book showcases the very best entries from the British Wildlife Photography Awards 2010. Craig's image Frosty Morning made the final from thousands of entries and is included in this stunning coffee table book which is a celebration of British wildlife as captured on camera by today’s best amateur and professional photographers.

  • Craigs image "Fighting Puffins" made it to the final of this year's BBC Veolia Environmental Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2010.

  • Craig has had three Watervole images published and text printed about his Dippers in the new BBC Halcyon River Diaries Book written by Charlie Hamilton James and his wife Philippa Forrester. His great new book is on sale now.

  • Craig covered the event for the Birdwatching Magazine,capturing photographs of the day in a photo journalistic manner, showing his versatility as a photographer.
